今でも信じられない。
今朝起きたら、ニュースで首里城が全焼したと報道されていて、今も消化活動中とのこと。一度戦争で消失した首里城を改めて再建した沖縄の人の誇りの象徴が燃え崩れていく姿は、息が止まるほどショックです。たくさんの観光客の思い出や、笑顔までもなくしてしまったようで、悲しくてたまらない...！
なんでこんなことが起きてしまったんだろう...！

I am so saddened to hear this news. Was so great that it was rebuilt after the war and stood as a monument to the strength and pride of the citizens of Okinawa. The war, that the Okinawan people did not start, took so much from the history and heritage of Okinawa. Shuri Castle is a loss of their history and I hope it will once again be rebuilt for all to see and enjoy.
